### Purpose We are starting a collaboration with Sakhi to set up 25 learning centres in Hosapete. We have experimented being a resource group for DBRC but there were a few issues with language barrier, value misalignment etc. We want to explore and experiment how we can be an effective resource group through this collaboration. ### Principles - Iterate. One mistake we made with DBRC was let things take course and not be actively involved. We should not make the same mistake with Sakhi and make sure that we're actually quarterbacking this project. I want to make sure I'm involved right from the start and have an active role. ### Outcome Visioning Through this experiment we are able to understand better what it means to be a resource group and we evolve a model to scale effectively. We are able to replicate to some degree the confidence and joy we see in children at Avalahalli. ### Brainstorming - What do I already know about this project? We have some idea about how to do a collaboration and know some details about Sakhi as an organisation. We know what mistakes we've made with DBRC as well. - What don’t I know that I need to find out? We don't know much about the demographic we're working with and the cultural contexts surrounding the communities. We also don't know the capability of the facilitator and just to what degree value alignment exists at other levels of the organisation. - Who can I talk to who might provide insights? We will learn these as we work with Sakhi. We will have to understand from facilitators, team members, Bhagya and the children and parents of the communities themselves. - What can I read or listen to for relevant ideas? Fifth Dimension has shown some promise in terms of scaling initiatives with high agency for children.
