- We have different types of memories that are brain handles differently. Episodic memory and semantic memory are both very different and have different implications.
- For example episodic memory is often prone to confabulation. People tend to embellish or remember things differently. They may have even noticed things differently. Each time they talk about it, they add on the way they're embellishing or speaking to the memory itself.
- Semantic memory on the other hand is like a fact that you know or don't know. You might now know how you learnt that fact or when you first came about it but you know for example that New Delhi is the capital of India.
