- When we have the scarcity mindset we tend to take in more information than we can possibly consume.
- Need to understand that there's knowledge and content everywhere. Wisdom is in less not in more.
- The main issue with scarcity mindset is that it happens at a subconscious level

- [[Building a Second Brain]] (Tiago Forte) - An Abundance Mindset tells us that there is an endless amount of incredibly powerful knowledge everywhere we look—in the content we consume, in our social network, in our bodies and intuitions, and in our own minds. It also tells us that we don’t need to consume or understand all of it, or even much of it. All we need is a few seeds of wisdom, and the seeds we most need tend to continually find us again and again.
- [[Building a Second Brain]] (Tiago Forte) - To attain knowledge, add things every day. To attain wisdom, remove things every day.
- [[Scarcity]] - Scarcity captures the mind. Just as the starving subjects had food on their mind, when we experience scarcity of any kind, we become absorbed by it. The mind orients automatically, powerfully, toward unfulfilled needs. For the hungry, that need is food. For the busy it might be a project that needs to be finished. For the cash-strapped it might be this month’s rent payment; for the lonely, a lack of companionship.
- [[Scarcity]] - Scarcity is more than just the displeasure of having very little. It changes how we think. It imposes itself on our minds.
- [[Scarcity]] - Abundance leaves us less able to know the value of a dollar.
