- Sometimes we feel that it can be pointless to read a book that reinforces what we already know or that which we feel is 'preaching to the choir'. But some of the best books I've read have been in this way. - They've really given me the language to communicate complex ideas. [[Community]] was one such book. - I also felt it a lot while attending an introduction to Gender and Sexual Minorities workshop hosted by Sangama. While this was mostly ideas I had heard about most of it had been from a Western lens and with a US perspective and language. In this workshop I learnt how to communicate ideas in Kannada and through a local perspective. - They say [[All Transformation is Linguistic]] and this is perhaps why it's important to read and find the language to communicate ideas.
