- Often when we ask children what they're curious about or what they want to learn it is typically some craft or experiment they have seen on YouTube or something to do with their school work. It's easy to assume that these children aren't curious and are in their comfort zone but often it's simply that they don't know the possibilities.
- When we took our children on a field trip on [[2024-01-07]] we found children asked all sorts of questions including about the windmills, how the rocks balanced, how historic societies might have lived etc.
- Exposure and having an idea of possibilities is a prerequisite for curiosity. We have to create more activities that provide exposure so children have things to be curious about.
