### Purpose
The facilitators of ViKa often find it difficult to balance their various commitments. They've not been able to participate in many of the meetings or workshops and it's made it challenging to have fruitful discussions and work as a team. We're hoping to evolve some mechanism or model by which we're able to build more of a team culture and not operate in our individual silos.
### Principles
- Empathy - While it's easy to be authoritarian and set rules such that everyone must follow them but it's important to be empathetic of everyone'e situation and keep in mind the challenges they are facing.
- Robust - We've had many conversations in the past and tried quite a few things but in the end we get back in to the same situation. We haven't found a system that works well in the long run so we should aim for something robust.
### Outcome Visioning
At the end of this project we should successfully have gatherings and discussions among team members. Facilitators view each other as a support system and share ideas and challenges to each other. We feel more as an organisation and as a team rather than operating as independent centres.
### Brainstorming
- What do I already know about this project? I have an idea of the challenges that facilitators are facing. I also understand that just a simple conversation and emphasis doesn't work well.
- What don’t I know that I need to find out? There's not much to specifically find out here. The situation is fairly clear to me.
- Who can I talk to who might provide insights? I can talk to Geeta and her team on how they're able to create a little more accountability. Prasanna might be helpful in sharing some ideas.
- What can I read or listen to for relevant ideas? There's probably a lot of content and literature out there around building accountability in organisations that are extremely decentralised.
