#### About Coordinator Role The program coordinator takes care of the high level strategy and planning for the learning centers. The coordinator prepares material, identifies potential new centers, helps with the training of facilitators, liaising with partners, documentation of the processes and ensures that the vision and philosophy of the program is implemented. They must be willing to work with various stakeholders including learners, facilitators and other members of the community. The role is full time and the remuneration will be between 3,00,000 to 4,00,000 depending upon skill and experience.  #### Responsibilities 1. Documentation of monthly reports of activities of all the centers as well as their own reflections and learnings 2. Ensure that the facilitators have have the resources they need to run the centers effectively including but not limited to the creation learning material 3. Effectively plan and organise facilitator training workshops including the biannual residential retreat and smaller biweekly workshops 4. Make regular field visits to support the learning facilitators at the centers through observations and feedback 5. Conduct parent meetings and implement programs in the community 6. Explore opportunities for new centers and establish connects with other organisations for the same 7. Hiring any new facilitators and ensuring that the facilitators are accountable to their roles and responsibilities 8. Ensure that all the centers strive towards the joyful and democratic learning philosophy 9. Building camaraderie in the team and creating a healthy environment for all team members 10. Engage with stakeholders such as school teachers, principals, community leaders #### Experience Desired - Bachelor’s Degree preferably in education or social work - Experience working with children or teachers - Knowledge of spoken Kannada/Tamil - Willingness to learn and be experiment with new ideas - Willingness to travel #### Other Notes - Need someone to challenge me and have a healthy discussion in terms of how to implement the program vision - Preferably a female candidate to handle any gender sensitive situations that may arise in children or facilitators
