1. [[Better Search Files and Documents]], [[Search Content You Consume]] - Real problem. It only matters after company hits a big size. Around 150 people it started being a thing at Patreon. It got really bad 300 people and then after that we switched to centralised Notion - 7.8 / 10 - Solution - Plugging in elastic search on to a local server could be a good solution to start with. 2. [[Business Forecasting]] for MSMEs - You need to sell well and you can make good money in India. People have no idea how much more efficient they could be. If you can convince people that you can provide value there's a lot of juice. Converting unstructured data to structured data is one of the harder parts of the problem. This isn't as easy a problem as we might think it is. This can be super hard to do especially with some macroeconomic effects - 8.2 / 10 - Patreon has a FP&A team (Financial Planning and Analysis). They basically budget, head count etc. So if you can do this for an MSME that's a slam dunk product. - Solution - There's enough simple ML plug and play that you can use. 3. [[Visibility and Accountability in Work]] - Lot of people have tried and failed. Not sure if lot of people who care about this. Way too nebulous and amorphous. Don't think you can convince people to pay for this. Patreon cares about this but we have many people whose job is just to figure this out. Don't think you can make it easier than apps that already do this. Don't think you guys have the skillset to think of a solution for this - 4 / 10 4. [[Workflow Routing]] - Not easy but a huge problem for sure. Patreon uses Zip. There's definitely something here. Maybe Zip with a notification layer. One thing that appealed about Zip UI is the visibility. When a person can see what all they are blocking it makes a big difference. Zip is not integrated into workflow enough. They have a Slack thing but it can be better than that - 8.3 / 10 - Solution - Zip with some notification would be a cool solution. Going to people where they are rather than them having to check Zip all the time. Maybe WhatsApp is the way to go. 5. [[Communication]] - Think people are done with Slack and people are definitely feeling this as an issue. This is hard as fuck. You probably are not the right person to solve this problem. Facebook has some really cool ways to do this - 7 / 10
